Scam Alert! O2 customers targeted by fraudsters via texts.

We’ve heard from a number of people who’ve received texts that look like they’re from O2.

The texts claim that your bill hasn’t been processed and that you could be charged fees.

They then give a link, asking you to update your billing information.

Be warned! They’re fake and the link is a scam!

These texts are from fraudsters who’re looking to take your cash.

Never click links in suspicious texts and never give out your billing or card information.

Remember, O2 will never email, text or call you and ask for a one-time code, password, or other security information you’ve set up on your O2 account.

If you think you’ve been scammed, contact your bank’s fraud department immediately to let them know.

You can also consider reporting the incident to ActionFraud.
