Vodafone error causes £1000s of roaming bills!

Vodafone customers roaming outside the UK have received huge bills because of a technical error.

Many customers were sent notifications saying they’d racked up thousands of pounds of charges by exceeding their data allowance, often leaving them unable to make calls or send messages.

Vodafone has apologised for the error, which they’ve now fixed.

If you’ve been affected, there’s no need to panic – Vodafone has said that customers won’t be charged.

Vodafone say that customers don’t need to contact them about the error as they’re proactively checking accounts and fixing any issues.
