Ovo energy overcharged thousands of customers

Ovo, which took over SSE’s customers last year, incorrectly billed over 500,000 customers.

Some customers didn’t receive a bill at all.

Ovo then issued inaccurate information about the issue to around 160,000, while many customers who were overcharged by less than £10 were not refunded.
