We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team, working across our product portfolio. We’ve acquired a number of new logos over the last year and are now looking to scale our team to develop and close the growing number of opportunities in the pipeline.

The Role

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a competent, motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for driving sales under the guidance of our Sales Director and CEO. You will be provided with leads via ongoing marketing and telesales but expected to generate significant business and opportunities yourself as well.

You will be expected to be able to develop an account strategy and pipeline, maintain sales reports, develop market and competitor knowledge, deliver presentations to Customers to a high standard, as well as create sales proposals.
We are looking for self-starting, tenacious, go-getter hunters, there will be no room for coasting.

You will be finding new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients, being directly responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our customer base.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Generate and develop your own sales leads
  • Prospect marketing qualified leads
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets with appropriate on time reporting
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Maintain existing business
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Sales, Sales, Sales!

About You

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales acquisition/development experience essential, ideally in SaaS environment (minimum 3 years)
  • Detail orientated but able to be flexible too
  • Excellent communicator at all levels within a business
  • Able to work as part of team but on own initiative too
  • Ability and possibility to work effectively from home
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for technology, our mission and for being a part of a fast-growing SaaS company
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Data, Product, Marketing, Services)
