BA, Ryanair and easyJet have cancelled more flights to Italy as the coronavirus situation continues to unfold.

The airlines have offered refunds or rebooking for all passengers affected.

Since the cancellations are outside the airlines’ control, passengers won’t be eligible for additional compensation under EU261/2004.

What if I’m planning to book a holiday?

The good news is that many airlines have started to offer guarantees to allow passengers to book flights with confidence.

Check with your airline to see if they’ll let you change your flight without a fee in the next 12 months.
