Following our news earlier this week that Resolver’s Chief Executive, Alex Neill, is expecting her first child, we’re thrilled to announce that Nikki Stopford will be our interim Chief Operating Officer during Alex’s maternity leave.
Nikki will be responsible for building on and delivering Resolver’s wide-ranging plans for the year ahead. She is widely known as a consumer rights specialist in the media, and will be providing a voice for consumers as well as leading on our work with businesses, regulators, ombudsmen and court services to ensure the highest standards of complaint handling are met at a pivotal time for people throughout the UK.
With more than two decades of experience in a variety of executive and senior leadership roles in consumer and business services, Nikki has an excellent track record in using innovative research and engagement strategies to shape decisions, to understand and give a voice to consumers, and to improve product design and service delivery. For 10 years she was Group Director of Research and Publishing at the consumer organisation Which? and she is a member of several leading regulatory and industry forums and organisations.
Nikki says: “Consumer shopping and spending habits are different today than before the pandemic. More people are shopping online, more have been left in vulnerable situations and more are impacted by late cancellations.
“Helping consumers get their frustrations listened to and acted on has never been more important. I’m delighted to join the Resolver team to help develop its tools and data services – to give consumers a stronger voice and to support businesses to reach the right resolution every time.”
